Through the Twin Falls School District Education Foundation, TFSD teachers were awarded over $28,000 in mini grant money this year! Seven of those recipients are from Bickel! Both of Bickel's music teachers applied and were awarded brand new ukuleles, a fourth grade teacher received funds to support the fourth/fifth grade Wagons Ho! experience, and first and second grade teachers were awarded equipment such as balance balls and bouncy bands to help their wiggly students focus on classwork. Every year the Education Foundation raises funds through programs like the Cow Pie Raffle, Jazz on the Canyon, the Employee Deduction Program, and many more to help reduce the amount of money teachers spend of their own personal money to meet the needs of their classrooms. Bickel is so grateful for the Ed Foundation's mini grants that allow us the opportunity to further enrich our students' educational experience!
