Motivated by his grandchildren and valuing the importance of being bilingual, Richard is passionate about making books available to children in both English and Spanish. Each of our students went home with two of his books in English and two in Spanish. Such a wonderful gift of stories and representation!
We are so grateful to Richard for his visit and to the many community members and businesses who have contributed to this campaign, putting books into the hands of every child.
