Hi there! My name is Ann-Marie Dobbs and I am a first grade teacher at Bickel Elementary. I can’t believe this is my 31st year of teaching and my 16th year as a Bickel Bobcat. Mrs. Ridley was my 2nd grade teacher and I absolutely loved being a student in her classroom. I knew from the very first day in her class that I wanted to be a teacher just like her. I love the funny stories that are shared by the kids, the art projects, and the magic of watching a child learn to read. When I am not in the classroom I enjoy all kinds of adventures like white water rafting, skiing, and going to new places with my friends.

This is my 3rd year here at Bickel as a Library Technician and I love it. I have found a job I truly love doing. Getting to read and spend time with kids makes me feel like I’m making a difference.

My name is Jennifer McNeil. I teach kindergarten here at Bickel Elementary School. My favorite part of teaching at Bickel is that we have a fantastic staff and a great bunch of students. I couldn’t ask for a better place to teach. I really enjoy teaching reading because once you learn to read so many doors are opened. I finished my Master’s Degree at Grand Canyon University. I have 3 fantastic adopted children. We also have 2 poodles, 2 pugs, 2 bunnies and 7 cats. Spare time…well…I don’t have much spare time. My kids and I are very involved with 4-H, sports and dance so that takes up a lot of our time. When I can, I love to scrap book and cross stitch.

My name is Rogene Meyer and I’ve taught ELL (English Language Learners) at Bickel for 12 years and been in education for 42 years. I have taught in Idaho, Alaska and Australia. I love working with English Language Learners, they bring a rich background and a willingness to learn. I received my Bachelor’s degree from Idaho State University and Master’s degree from Boise State University.
I have two grown children, a daughter-in-law and two adorable grandchildren. In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, reading, and traveling. I love working with the staff and students at Bickel.

My name is Kate Milligan and I have worked at Bickel Elementary for 12 years. I’ve held numerous positions that include Playground/Office Aid, an ELL Para for three years, a Special Education Para for two years and currently as Student Mentor. I graduated from CSI with both Liberal Arts and Criminal Justice degrees. We have two children and many animals in our family including 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 birds, 2 tortoises, 1 turtle, 1 salamander and 1 crested gecko. We enjoy family Christmas vacations to Yellowstone National Park.

Hello! If you ever played “Where’s Waldo?” then you know how much fun it can be to search and find. When you’re looking for me, just keep your eyes peeled for the tallest teacher. At 6’4”, I’m easy to spot, and I do play basketball! I grew up in Southern Idaho exploring the outdoors, playing sports, and being the cheeriest, bass playing band geek you could find. After graduating from Declo High School, I studied at Hillsdale College in Michigan and continued to explore by teaching in places like Indonesia, Cameroon, and Paul, Idaho. Wherever I’ve gone, the best part is the lovely people. The students, families and staff at Bickel Elementary are no exception. I look forward to growing and becoming part of this community. If you’re ever in the building, look for me and give me a wave – it’s almost like finding Waldo!

Hi, My name is Cindy Pearce. My husband Rick is my everything and we have a son and daughter who will always have my heart.

I currently teach K-5 Special Education. All 22 years of my teaching career have been at Bickel Elementary. My husband, Steve, is better known as Mr. Rahe, a 4th grade teacher at Morningside Elementary. Our son, Seth, is a junior in high school and our daughter, Stephanie, is a freshman. Both attend TFHS.
I love Bickel. The very high ceilings, the grooves in the steps, the actual blackboards, and the little nooks and crannies are all great, but the most wonderful thing about Bickel is the sense of family. With a smaller staff and smaller enrollment than most of the other schools, it truly is like a family. My plan is to teach at Bickel until I can retire.

My name is Benita Remaley, and I am the Music Teacher here at Bickel. This is my first year here, but my 38th year to teach! I have taught K – 3rd grade classrooms for 24 of those years, and Music for 14 years. I started my career in the South, and moved to Idaho in 1990. I taught in Mountain Home, Meridian, Jerome, and then here in Twin Falls. I was the Music Teacher at Lincoln for the past 3 years. I have 4 grown kids, and 4 grand-kids, and love them all dearly! We love to go camping, and we love to travel all across the country! I am an animal lover as well, with 4 cats, 1 dog, and 3 goats! I am so happy to be at Bickel this year!

I was born in Colorado and raised in Idaho. I have 2 kids, a boy and a girl. I have been a para educator for 19 years now. I love working with kids and reading in my spare time.

My name is Abby Snow and I’m the PE Teacher at Bickel! My teaching career began in 2017 and I have loved every second of it! Prior to becoming a teacher I was an event planner, health and wellness coordinator, secretary and kinesiologist but being a PE Teacher has been my absolute favorite! When I’m not teaching, I love to spend time with my husband and our dogs outside. We love to hike, paddleboard, be in the mountains and go on adventures.

This is my third year teaching at Bickel. I am so excited about having the opportunity to teach here again.
I started my teaching career at the Mars Primary Center in Pennsylvania. It was exciting because I got to teach at the district that I had graduated from. I taught there for 8 years before I found my way to Wallace, Idaho and later White Sulphur Springs, MT. This is my 16th year of teaching elementary students. Teaching has brought me much happiness and many exciting adventures.

My name is Lucy Wills, I am the counselor at Bickel Elementary. I joined the Bickel Family in 2019. Being at Bickel has been a very pleasant experience. I have made amazing friendships and I truly love the students here. I have a Bachelor’s Degree from Boise State University and a Master’s from Northwest Nazarene University. In my free time I love to travel and my goal is to fill every page on my passport. I also love spending time with my husband playing golf. Please keep in mind that loving to play golf and being good at it is not the same thing. But seriously I enjoy every aspect of my job, I enjoy the students and staff and just life in general.
